PT Indonesia Power planned to develop 200 MW Kalbar-1 Power Station Project, in Bengkayang, Kalimantan Province, Indonesia. SEPCO III Electric Power Construction Co ltd was the EPC contractor. Southwest Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd of China Power Engineering Consultant Group was the designer. Shandong Chengxin Engineering Construction Supervision Co.,Ltd was the supervisor. The project covered the construction of a power plant with the capacity of 200 MW. This power pant consist of 2 turbines with the capacity of 100 MW each. This project could provide more power to the local residents, and could help attract investment. As an cooperative project, it could intensify friendship between countries. Besides, this project could benefit the Belt and Road Initiative.
