Continental Gold Inc planned to develop Buritica Gold Project, in Buritica, Antioquia, Colombia. M3 Engineering & Technology Corp was engineering and infrastructure designer of the project. JDS Energy & Mining Inc was feasibility study consultant of the project. Tierra Group International Ltd was designer of dry stack tailings storage facility. Empresas Publicas de Medellin ESP was contractor of transmission line and power substation. The project covered the construction of 75,583 ha area, comprising a total of 80 tenements, including 23 registered concessions and 60 pending registration concessions. The project would benefit from the presence of existing infrastructure, such as a paved access road linked to the Higabra Valley, a transformer at the site fed by the local power grid, water sourced from the Higabra tunnel and stored in a holding tank at the site, and mine offices, and a laboratory.
