Bangladesh Power Development Board plans to develop Rangunia 45-55 MW Grid-Tied PV Array Project, in Rangunia, Chittagong, Bangladesh. A consortium led by Metito Utilities, JinkoSolar and Al Jomaih Energy and Water was the developer. The project covered the construction of a solar power plant with the capacity of 45-55 MW. This project could not only help meet the need of power for the local residents, but also attract more investment to drive the economy of this country. In addition, this project could be very helpful to the Belt and Road Initiative.
