Karsagroup LLC planned to develop 40 MW Karsa 1500 Tonnes/day Waste Power Station Project, in Kiev, Ukraine. China Energy Engineering Corp Ltd was the EPC contractor. China Energy Engineering Group International Engineering Co Ltd was the construction contractor and China Energy Engineering Group Guangdong Electric Power Design Institute Co Ltd was the consultant. The project was located in Kiev. The capacity of the power station was 40 MW. The project was to build a waste incineration power station. The waste power station would handle 1500 tonnes of garbage per day. The Project consisted of the construction of two 750-ton units and the design, procurement, construction as well as operation and maintenance of the power station. The construction period was 36 months. The project responded to Belt and Road Initiative and would incinerate waste and prompt electricity.
