Gaborone-Lobatse Water Supply Project

Water Utilities Corp planned to develop Gaborone-Lobatse Water Supply Project located in Gaborone-Lobatse, South-East province of Botswana. China Construction Second Engineering Bureau LTD.was the construction contractor of the project, the contract value was about US$ 89.94 million. The project covered the construction of pumping stations, reservoirs, and the laying of large-scale water transfer pipelines from Lobatse to Gaborone. The pipeline is more than 50 kilometers long and has a pipe diameter of 900 mm. This project was part of the North South Carrier Water Transfer Project.
