Manama, Bahrain: Zain Bahrain, a leading telecommunications operator in the Kingdom, has been conferred with the Happiness @ Work Award 2019 in the ‘Best Employee Engagement Program’ (private sector) Category. The third edition of the Happiness @ Work Award virtual ceremony organized by Sustainable MindZ (Dubai) saw a participation of 120+ delegates where the region’s top happy workplaces were revealed. The winners included government and private sector organisations that have taken steps to increase the happiness quotient of their workforce.

Zain Bahrain was awarded the Best Employee Engagement Program’ (private sector) due to showcasing excellence in adopting an Employee engagement and inclusiveness program based on respect, trust, integrity, two-way commitment and communication between the organization and its employees. Zain Bahrain effectively capitalized on the strengths of its employees and leveraged their differences resulting in the right conditions for them to give their best ensuring commitment to the organization’s goals and values.

The Sustainable MindZ Jury received a total of 62 nominations across different categories from 4 different countries in the region (UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia). An independent panel of jurors evaluated the organizations and after a rigorous assessment based on multiple parameters, 19 organizations were shortlisted and awarded.
