Yazle Media appoints company's new Managing Director

Jamie Atherton is an industry veteran with a solid entrepreneurial, commercial and operational track record within the global advertising sector

Dubai, United Arab Emirates : Yazle Media, one of the leading ad-tech companies within the region, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Jamie Atherton, an industry veteran with a solid entrepreneurial, commercial and operational track record within the global advertising sector, as the company's new Managing Director.

Preceding to joining Yazle, Jamie was previously CEO at Adfalcon and co-founder at AdZouk, the regions first homegrown SSP. Along with being a tech SME Expert and he has overseen multiple startups across the globe.

Commenting on the appointment, Jamie said, "It's an absolute pleasure to be allowed to lead Yazle across its MENA expansion. With my 15 years of regional digital media experience, I'm confident in bringing positive change to the business at such a pivotal time."

Jamie has lived in the UAE since 2001. Originally from the UK, he is an ex-member of Britain's triathlon team and Purple belt on a blacvk belt course - trained mixed martial artist. He also holds the record for the only person to swim the entire circumference of the Palm Jumeirah.

On joining the team, Yazles Founder Mr Gaurav Aidasani said, "I am beyond excited to welcome Jamie to the yazle family. I am confident his proven track record and extensive experience in building consumer affinity, coupled with a laser-focus on industry-leading practices, will drive and extend yazle's upward trajectory and become a leader within the global advertising market."

As Managing Director, Jamie will be responsible for Yazles's overall business and its expansion within the MENA region. His 15 years + experience within the industry will drive top and bottom-line growth and expand market share and margins in a challenging post-pandemic climate.
