The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) organised two car auctions at Al Mafraq vehicle impound during the month of November where 274 cars of different types and categories were sold at competitive prices ranging from 2,000 to 175,000 dirhams.

The two auctions recorded a great attendance with the participation of 850 bidders. The first auction attracted 470 registered bidders and 380 in the second, in a context of intense competition for the cars being auctioned and which values were paid by credit cards or bank transfers.

The ADJD facilitated the completion of the procedures for the bidders to obtain the purchased vehicles immediately after the closing of the sale, allowing pre-sale inspection of the cars one day before the event, completing the procedures and delivering the vehicles to their new owners on the spot and on the same day, while guaranteeing the rights of all parties in accordance with the specific legal controls.

Both auctions were entirely organised by the specialised staff of Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, with the involvement of the relevant Sectors and Divisions, following proper advertising via various electronic platforms and social media to ensure maximum transparency, clarity and impartiality, while providing sufficient guarantees to safeguard the rights of the stakeholders.
