Manama: Under the patronage of the Central Bank of Bahrain, the Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance (BIBF) organises a one-day Virtual Forum, Powered by Batelco, entitled “Achieving Excellence in a Pandemic”.

Taking place on the 22nd of June 2020, the Forum will provide an outlook on COVID-19 from a national and global level and will shed light on how to overcome its challenges and attain business continuity.

Building on the success of previous learning events and forums, this initiative is launched in alignment with the Kingdom’s national direction to support organisations during the COVID-19 Pandemic, and in order to continue the education and training support to the business community.

Business professionals from various sectors and specialisations will engage and learn from keynote speakers, expert panelists and specialised workshops through an interactive and stimulating learning experience.

In addition, the forum’s guest speaker, Mr. Hal S. Scott, the Emeritus Nomura Professor of International Systems at Harvard Law School will be delivering the Forum closing session on “How the Global Business World is Responding to COVID-19”.

On his part, the Forum’s Project Manager, the BIBF Head of Digital Transformation and Project Management, Mr. Ahmed Naeemi stated, “Our periodic educational forums and learning events aim to connect our learners with local and international subject matter experts. This year’s Forum is delivered in a different approach, utilizing digital means to connect learners with a wider range of experts enabling them to select and attend the sessions that mostly cater to their top business issues in the COVID-19 era”.
