Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - PwC, the world's leading professional services network, has appointed Riyadh Al Najjar as the Country Senior Leader in Saudi Arabia. Al Najjar's appointment comes with a host of endorsements within the Saudi Leadership; as a result of his track record of supporting Saudi transformation initiatives that are in line with The Kingdom's 2030 Vision. This, in turn, will also strengthen PwC's presence and commitment to the Kingdom as an influential partner in the success of the Kingdom's National Transformation Programme and Vision 2030.

In light of Al Najjar's appointment, His Excellency Dr. Mufrej Bin Saad Al-Haqabani, Saudi Minister of Labor and Social Development, said: "I am pleased to learn about Riyadh Al Najjar's appointment as PwC Saudi's new Country Senior Leader. Riyadh Al Najjar has been a long-standing trusted consultant to the Ministry, having supported the execution of a number of our transformational initiatives." His Excellency also credited Riyadh Al Najjar for his leadership, professional management skills and strong record of leading positive change in the Saudi Labor market and the country as a whole.

His Excellency further stated Riyadh's leadership skills enabled him to lead various teams and deliver projects in line with the Ministry's expectations. His dedication and professionalism are key contributors to his high quality deliverables in challenging and dynamic environments. I am confident in Al Najjar's abilities in providing the needed support throughout and I thank him for this, and I wish him the best of luck for future successes, as we look forward to strengthening our partnership moving forward."   

Meanwhile, His Excellency Majid Bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, Saudi Minister of Housing, also expressed his endorsement of Al Najjar's appointment by stating: "During our most recent collaboration, Riyadh's professionalism, management skills and expertise in delivering and managing projects have earned him the respect of all who have had the pleasure of working with him. I wish him and the rest of PwC's leaders the best of luck and a continued excellency in providing professional services to clients."

Al Najjar brings with him over 25 years of management consulting experience in the Healthcare, Financial Services and Public Sector spheres. Over the course of his career, he has maintained deep-rooted relationships with prominent members of government representatives in addition to investors and businesses. His clients have often described him as a colleague and 'go-to' person for trusted advice and someone who is known to deliver on promises.

Al Najjar has been with PwC for almost 10 years, during which he took on different leadership roles, most recently as leader of Programme and Project Management (PPM) services, which supported to the establishment of different Project Management and Transformation Management offices in various client entities aimed at delivering their respective strategic goals and objectives. Al Najjar's key focus remains on building capabilities and a center of competence for managing and delivering large-scale nation-wide transformation programs.

Commenting on his appointment, Al Najjar said: "This is an exciting time for Saudi Arabia, as the country embarks on an ambitious journey to achieving its Vision 2030. As the Country Senior Leader, Riyadh Al Najjar will be responsible for leading PwC's offices in the Kingdom across the firms's core lines of service: Assurance, Consulting, Zakat and Deals.
