Sharjah, UAE – Right Health, the largest and fastest growing value healthcare provider in the region, welcomed a visit from His Excellency Salem Yousef Al Qaseer, Chairman, Sharjah Labour Standards Development Authority (LSDA) and Omar Al Sharji, Director of Support and Corporate Communications Department at LSDA, to its latest clinic in Al Saja’a area. The government officials inspected the new facility located in Sharjah and met with and interacted with the staff and patients to discuss the services provided at the clinic.

Sharjah has always been at the vanguard in supporting and enhancing opportunities and services for workers in the emirate. This new facility will significantly contribute to LSDA’s vision and objective to offer quality healthcare to a large number of blue-collar workers in Sharjah.

Speaking on the launch of clinic, His Excellency Al Qaseer, said: “Opening a new clinic that offers affordable, world-class quality healthcare is a constructive step and an important idea. It reflects Sharjah’s commitment to ensuring its citizens and residents have access to exceptional healthcare services. Right Health has strategically opened this clinic in the middle of industrial area to cater to the many workers residing in Al Saja’a labor camps. This facility serves as an example for all healthcare providers and we hope others will follow in Right Health’s footsteps and open more facilities that consider workers and their well-being of prime importance.

“The new clinic is in line with LSDA’s strategic objectives. LSDA was established as part of the keen interest of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to facilitate an ideal work environment in Sharjah. The Authority aims to provide support to workers and employers in cooperation with government stakeholders and private sector enterprises, to enhance the productivity of this sector, and keep pace with the rapid developments witnessed by the emirate of Sharjah in particular and the UAE in general.”

The value healthcare chain has been rapidly expanding its reach into labor communities across the country, bringing quality healthcare to the doorstep of low-income expats.

The primary health clinic at Al Saja’a is one of the 57 Right Health facilities, which was launched with the aim of assisting the government in addressing the shortfall of health centers that cater to low-income patients in the emirate. The clinic caters to around 1,050 patients each month.

The primary healthcare clinic is a one-stop destination for all primary healthcare requirements, staffed by a team of general medical experts. The facility features an onsite pharmacy and is open every day from 8am to 10pm.

Dr Sanjay Paithankar, Managing Director of Right Health, said: “Right Health seeks to ensure that the UAE’s blue-collar workers can also enjoy access to quality healthcare close to their homes and places of work. Our fast-growing presence in the region is a result of our tireless efforts to bring reliable, affordable and outcome-driven health services to the masses where they need them.”

Right Health, a group company of the UAE-based conglomerate Foundation Holdings, a strategic investment firm focused on the healthcare, education and consumer sectors, supports the objective of the National Agenda of the UAE Vision 2021 to make quality healthcare accessible to all. With its winning formula of operating targeted, smaller health centres and clinics in strategic locations, the company has become the premier provider of affordable health care to the working-class population.

Speaking on the innovative business model of Right Health, Shainoor Khoja, Chief Impact Officer of Foundation Holdings, said: “Right Health’s growth is driven through offering enhanced healthcare at nominal prices. To achieve this goal, our facilities are designed to handle greater capacity, with plans in place to factor in future expansion as well as the introduction of mandatory insurance. We seek to reinforce the concept of quality healthcare for all to create a powerful societal impact while maintaining business feasibility. We believe in the virtuous cycle of good healthcare that leads to strong businesses and happy people.”
