Dubai, UAE: As part of its concerted efforts to enhance the capabilities of government leaders in the UAE and the Arab region, the Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG) has launched the ‘Executive Education Smart Platform.’

Conceived with the goal of keeping pace with global government changes and developing an integrated system of distance learning with effective communication channels and innovative educational programmes, the platform aims to provide leaders with expertise and to update them with the latest international developments.

MBRSG aims to transfer 50% of its educational programmes onto the Executive Education Smart Platform to provide an opportunity for leaders to participate effectively and remotely, especially in light of the current situation and in preparation of the future ‘new normal.’

‘Strategic Leadership in a Challenging World’ is the first free-of-charge programme MBRSG launched on the platform, with the tutorial aiming to enhance an understanding of the concept of leadership in the public sector. It discusses the challenges and the latest developments in government work, as well as promotes strategic thinking and the effective use of tools for overcoming challenges and implementing change management.

His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Sabaa Al-Marri, Executive President of MBRSG, affirmed that MBRSG is committed to upgrading educational programmes, tools and capabilities that ensure the provision of an innovative and flexible educational environment that facilitates continuous communication with various government leaders in the UAE and the region. He also reiterated that it supports leaders in decision-making and in keeping pace with global changes in the government and private sectors.

His Excellency said: "The Executive Education Smart Platform reflects our vision towards developing executive education to reach a larger segment of government leaders across the region. The platform integrates participants in the advanced educational system through which MBRSG seeks to improve government performance and to find innovative solutions to challenges that will guarantee the continuation of  development in all sectors.

His Excellency added: "The strategic Leadership in a Challenging World programme addresses the global reality that is currently full of challenges and which calls for immediate responses on various vital sectors to limit the repercussions of the current situation, as well as ensuring the continuity of work and the provision of the necessary services to the community. The programme, which we have made available free-of-charge, will equip leaders with the skills to deal with the current situation and prepare them to make sound strategic decisions that take into account the interests of the government and the safety of the community.”

His Excellency pointed out that MBRSG continues to provide full support to various government entities and the private sector in the UAE and wider region, and seeks to employ its cadres and research capabilities in developing a comprehensive vision to overcome the current global situation. He said that this confirms its role and mission of working to ensure a prosperous future for the region.
