Dubai, UAE – The soon-to-open Millennium Place Marina, the new brand by Millennium Hotels and Resorts Middle East and Africa, has revealed its Executive Team.

General Manager Manuel Garcia heads the team and will be managing the overall operations of the 453-key hotel including maintaining owner’s relations, developing the brand and leading the team achieve its business plans. Garcia’s career includes more than 27 years of hospitality experience across management, sales and marketing and operations. Most recently he was the General Manager of Mercure Gold Hotel. Previously, he worked with Starwood, Marriott, Accor and Rotana in various locations.

Missing in the picture is the Director of Sales and Marketing Atef Eleskndarany who is leading the hotel’s Sales and Marketing dynamic teams. An experienced hotelier with six hotel opening experience within international hotel chains environment and 20 years of hospitality experience, Atef was previously the Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing of Radisson Blu Residence Dubai Marina and Radisson Blu Hotel Apartments Dubai Silicon Oasis. Atef expanded his experience with InterContinental Hotel Group, Accor and Radisson Blu Hotel Group between Egypt, Oman and UAE.

Front Office Manager Jan Majerski is a young and dynamic hotelier with almost a decade of hospitality experience. His role is to maintain the overall guest satisfaction, front desk operations and maintain the highest online reputation. A Polish national, he previously worked with Rove by Emaar Hospitality before joining Millennium Place Marina.

Ingrida Baltrusaityte is the hotel’s Executive Housekeeper and has 11 years of housekeeping experience. She will be handling the housekeeping operations of the hotel, ensuring the team complies and delivers the highest housekeeping standards and maintain the cleanliness of all areas in the hotel and guest satisfaction is achieved by optimum utilization of resources.

Heading the Human Resources Department is Dhinakaran Kuppusamy, who brings more than 29 years of experience to his position. Kuppusamy has a food and beverage operations background and started his career in hospitality as F&B Management Training with Starwood in India.

A veteran in the hospitality industry with 29 years of experience, Subramanian Krishnan is Millennium Place Marina’s director of revenue. He will be spearheading the revenue and reservations functions of the hotel and is in-charge of implementing various yield strategies in online channels.

Hareesh Haridasan, the hotel’s director of finance and business support, brings more than two decades of hospitality experience. He will be in-charge of preparing the hotel’s budget along with revenue management team, monitor its performance and support the operations to reach the business target.

Procurement Manager Rahul Punnapully has a great record of negotiation skills so he will apply his 18 years of experience in handling the hotel’s procurement and store operations.

A mechanical engineer with 23 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Ismail Aly Elgammal will be responsible for the hotel’s plant and machinery and will ensure all safety standards are met before the opening of the hotel. Elgammal will serve as the hotel’s Director of Engineering.

A Microsoft certified computer engineer, Sajith Pillai will be handling the hotel’s IT including software, hardware and network functions of the hotel. He has 13 years of experience and was previously working with Copthorne Hotel Dubai before joining Millennium Place Marina.

Ahmed Khaled will use his 16 years of experience in ensuring the safety and security of the hotel’s guests, colleagues and assets.
