International Conference on Ijarah was successfully concluded at Dusit Thani Hotel, Dubai - UAE. The purpose of that Conference was to promote, strengthen and unite the organizations on Islamic finance focusing on Islamic leasing (Ijarah) to explore and discuss innovative products of leasing under Shariah laws and financial inclusion strategies that can create clear pathways for growth and development of Islamic banking and finance industry. Eminent Speakers and industry professionals from well serving organizations related to Islamic leasing, leasing, banking and Islamic banking participated in the event. The aim of the Conference was to explore and discuss innovative products of leasing under Shariah laws and financial inclusion strategies that can create clear pathways for growth and development of Islamic banking and finance industry by gathering stakeholders under one roof. The Conference was organized by AlHuda Centre of Islamic Banking and Economics in association with Uzbekistan Lessor Association and in partnership with multilateral organization for the Development of the Private Sector, ICD-IsDB. ICD-IsDB is one of the premier Islamic multilateral financial institution working for the development of the private sector including Ijarah industry.

AlHuda arranged an impressive lineup of speakers from 15+ countries with the revealing sessions on the subject matter to explore more options for Islamic leasing industry. Mr. Zafar B. Mustafaev - CEO of Uzbek Leasing International A.O. General Director of Leasing Association of Uzbekistan inaugurated the Conference by saying that Islamic finance is the need of the time for sustainable economic growth and development.
