Integrated Telecom Company (ITC) and King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) represented by the Internet Services Unit launched an initiative to increase the capacity of connectivity service between universities and academic bodies to more than 12 GB free of charge, this comes as part of the strategic partnership between the ITC and KACST and in accordance with the directives of CITC.

The initiative aims to facilitate the educational process confirmed to be continued through E-learning and distance education, and as part of ITC national and social responsibilities to provide full support to all procedures and precautions done by Saudi Government to prevent the spread of Coronavirus (COVID 19). The initiative also aims to support universities students and faculty, increase the quality of the virtual classes and educational platforms, optimize the access to national digital services.

In this regard, Eng. Osama Ibrahim Al-Dosary, CEO of Integrated Telecom Company said: “we at ITC value our strategic partnership with KACST and are always looking to cooperate to reinforce digital transformation initiatives in the Kingdom”.
