DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — Bhishmaraj Singh has been promoted to General Manager of the four Hyatt Place properties in Dubai. He brings over 15 years of experience to his new role and will continue to lead the senior management team, ensuring seamless operations are maintained across the four properties: Hyatt Place Dubai Al Rigga, Hyatt Place Dubai Baniyas Square, Hyatt Place Dubai Wasl District and Hyatt Place Dubai Jumeirah.

Most recently, Bhishmaraj held the role of Cluster Hotel Manager of the Hyatt Place Dubai hotels for four years, during which time he headed the hotels’ executive teams, setting and implementing overall hotel targets to deliver an excellent guest experience while generating profitability and adopting guest satisfaction measures. Bhishmaraj commenced his career in hospitality as a trainee at Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa in 2007. He then moved on to Hyatt Regency in Dubai as Assistant Director of F&B in 2010, where he was tasked with overseeing operations for all of the property’s dining outlets. In 2014, he joined the pre-opening team of Hyatt Place Dubai Al Rigga, marking the introduction of the brand to the Middle East before moving his way up the ladder to become Hotel Manager of Hyatt Place Dubai Al Rigga and Hyatt Place Dubai Baniyas Square. In 2019, he spearheaded the two successful openings of Hyatt Place Dubai Wasl District and Hyatt Place Dubai Jumeirah.

“Bhishmaraj is an exemplary leader with a reputation for developing high-performing teams, and he has successfully led the pre-opening of our two Hyatt Place Dubai properties. Having him oversee the Hyatt Place Dubai hotels will be a competitive strength for us,” said Fathi Khogaly, Area Vice President for Hyatt Hotels in Dubai.

Bhishmaraj graduated with a degree in hospitality from Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland. In his free time, he likes to travel and explore new places.
