Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain: Gulf Air - the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain - in partnership with Bahrain Tourism & Exhibitions Authority, recently arranged a familiarisation trip for members of Southall Travel, one of the largest travel companies in the UK. The trip took place earlier this month and guests had the opportunity to experience the state-of-the-art Gulf Air aircraft and use the airline’s Falcon Gold lounge in Bahrain International Airport. During their time in Bahrain, Southall management visited some of Bahrain’s most notable touristic attractions and landmarks and enjoyed staying and visiting some of the Kingdom’s top hotels to fully understand the leisure and MICE facilities of the Kingdom. The trip served as a comprehensive overview to the guests to experience what the Kingdom of Bahrain has to offer as a boutique destination to the European market.

Southall Travel Group is one of the largest travel companies in the United Kingdom and one of the top sellers of Bahrain holidays to the UK market. It has sold more than 4,000 inbound tourist packages to the Kingdom of Bahrain in 2018 with growing numbers in 2019. Gulf Air works closely with Southall and Bahrain Tourism & Exhibitions Authority to continuously promote Bahrain as a tourist and stopover destination to all of its international markets.
