Riyadh: Following the continuing directives and efforts of the Saudi Arabian Government to safeguard its citizens and residents in the Kingdom, Fawaz Abdulaziz Alhokair & Co. (Alhokair Fashion Retail, the “Group” or “Alhokair,” 4240 on the Tadawul) has announced its fashion and other retail units will remain open from Thursday 14th May until Friday 22nd May, except for its outlets in Makkah.

The company stated that the health and safety of its customers and employees continues to be of paramount importance and has requested its customers continue to take note of the Government’s health and safety precautions to wear a mask and gloves and to ensure appropriate social distancing is observed while shopping.

Stores in shopping centres will remain open from 10am to 4pm daily as will its retail units in street locations, and the company’s food and beverage outlets will be open from 3pm to 3am for delivery service.

Existing regulations will remain in place for shoppers that include closed changing rooms and contactless payments by credit or debit card are encouraged. The Government directive further stipulates the return to a 24-hour curfew from 23 May 2020 to 27 May 2020 across all cities and regions of the Kingdom.
