Contact Insurance Brokerage participated in the 3rd round of the Afro-Asian Insurance Conference “Rising from the Challenges of 2020" , which took place on the 5th and 6th of April. The Afro-Asian Conference is organized by the Afro-Asian Union for Insurance and Reinsurance in cooperation with the Association of Afro-Asian Insurance Brokers and Experts. The regional conference held under the auspices of the Financial Regulatory Authority and the Minister of Public Business Sector, sheds light on young leaders who have succeeded in the field of insurance.

Ms. Nihal Beraik, Managing Director of "Contact Insurance Brokerage", participated as one of the insurance sector’s successful young female leaders. Attendees included representatives of 300 organizations and insurance companies from more than 12 countries, in the presence of senior leaders from the non-banking financial services sector in Egypt, led by the Chairman of the Financial Regulatory Authority and decision makers within the Egyptian insurance sector.

Contact Insurance Brokerage has become one of the largest companies in the Egyptian market, facing the pandemic with courage and valor, and has succeeded in overcoming various crises, under the management of Ms. Beraik, who has had an effective and pivotal role during the last period.

Ms. Beraik discussed several issues during the conference, such as the current branches of Contact Insurance Brokerage and their future plans for expansion. She shared experiences from partnering and cooperating with some of Egypt’s biggest insurance companies and the importance of such partnerships in addition to the role Contact Insurance Brokerage plays among its holding group network Contact Financial Holding.

Ms. Beraik also shared the company’s progress and success in terms of total installments during the last year achieved on behalf of the country’s insurance companies. Additionally, she shared their expected targets for the current year, along with the actions  taken to confront the covid-19 pandemic and its impact whether negative or positive.

Commenting on the role of Contact Insurance Brokerage in the non-banking financial sector and the encouragement of  young leaders, Ms. Nihal expressed her happiness and said: “I am proud to be a representation of young female leaders who have succeeded in this sector, and I take it upon myself to contribute to the development of our society and encourage women leaders in the insurance sector” .

Contact is a pioneer in providing financial solutions, including auto financing, truck financing, real estate financing, factoring, insurance brokerage, consumer products, home finishing, commercial financing and financial leasing, so it is important to set an example for insurance companies and continue to have an impact on our society adds Ms. Beraik.
