Dubai, United Arab Emirates – Bosch has announced the appointment of Per Johansson as General Manager for Robert Bosch Middle East FZE, making him responsible for the company’s regional operations. Johansson will also drive the team’s efforts to achieve market growth, synergy utilization and comprehensive stakeholder management.

Steven Young, President, Bosch Turkey and Middle East said, “Per Johansson has dedicated 17 years of his career to Bosch, enabling the growth of Power Tools and Security Systems divisions. He brings with him robust knowledge and experience of Bosch’s businesses which will enhance our strategy and ambition in the region.”

As an accomplished senior leader, Mr. Johansson brings over 25 years of international industry experience gained in markets including Europe, Asia Pacific and North Africa.

Commenting on his appointment, Per Johansson expressed his delight to lead the Middle East operations, adding “I hope that my longstanding relations across different divisions and markets at Bosch would further strengthen its position within the region. I look forward to working closely with the team, partners and customers in the market while contributing to Bosch’s great success.”

Prior to this role, Johansson led the Power Tools Division as Vice President of both Western and Northern Europe. He has also played a fundamental role within Bosch’s Security Systems Division in Sweden and Singapore. Johansson has held senior positions with leading industry players in Europe as well.
