- Al-Meshaan: We have a responsibility to arm younger generations with the abilities to bring solutions, drive innovation and sustain our society.

Kuwait - For the 12th year in a row, ALARGAN International Real Estate Company renewed its partnership with the non-profit youth education organization, INJAZ Kuwait, continuing its commitment to develop the knowledge and professional skills of university and high school students and engaging a generation which will carry the torch of entrepreneurial, economic and environmental sustainability in Kuwait.

The partnership comes as part of ALARGAN’s endeavors to fulfill the educational pillar of its corporate social responsibility strategy. Through INJAZ Kuwait’s educational programs, the company shares its industry experience and skills in a collaborative and rewarding setting that enables students to learn from accomplished professionals and inspires future generations.

Last year, the Company hosted over 267 students from Kuwait University, the Australian College of Kuwait, the New English School, and the Canadian Bilingual School. With more than 110 hours of educational and professional development, ALARGAN’s team volunteered in four of INJAZ’s key programs, namely the Job Shadow, Career Success, Entrepreneurship Masterclass and Innovation Camp.

ALARGAN’s CEO and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Engineer Khaled Al-Mashaan said: “We are proud to renew our partnership with a leading organization which shares the same values as us at ALARGAN. We have a responsibility towards providing younger generations with a world where they can grow, and a world they can sustain as well. As we achieve these goals, we also have a responsibility to arm these younger generations with the abilities to bring solutions, drive innovation and sustain development in our society.

“Through educational programs, we aim to inspire these young and ambitious students into a career that we hope will positively impact their lives and their society year after year.”

ALARGAN will launch the 2017/2018 academic year with INJAZ Kuwait by hosting students in the career and entrepreneurial programs. The Company’s engineers and professionals in the field will present fundamentals in engineering, project management, finance, design and sustainable development, through which they focus on the necessity of creating sustainable business models and sustainable developments. These programs are held in ALARGAN’s headquarters, the only building in Kuwait to be accredited Platinum ranking, the highest ranking, in the Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) program awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).

In addition to education, ALARGAN’s corporate social responsibility strategy delivers research and training in sustainable urban and building development, knowledge-sharing with industry influencers, intensive educational programs with universities, and social initiatives that involve the sustainable development of facilities used by various segments of the society.
