Abu Dhabi, UAE: ADNOC Distribution, the UAE’s largest fuel and convenience retailer, continues to support the UAE’s recovery and ongoing fight against COVID-19, with its commitment to keeping customers and employees safe by ensuring that 100% of its frontline staff working in its service station network have received the COVID-19 booster vaccine shot.

Engineer Bader Saeed Al Lamki, CEO, ADNOC Distribution, said: “We are committed to upholding the highest standards of health and safety by ensuring all our employees have access to the COVID-19 booster shot. With 100% of our frontline staff receiving their COVID-19 vaccinations and booster dose, we are not just protecting our employees but also providing an additional layer of protection for our customers.

“I am proud of our employees’ dedication to keep their colleagues and communities safe.”

The company was the first fuel retailer globally to fully vaccinate every member of its frontline staff. A series of precautionary measures were implemented including mobile vaccination units for frontline staff, extensive COVID-19 testing for all employees, daily cleaning, and sanitization across its network, as well as readily available PPE and clear health and safety guidelines at station and in ADNOC Oasis convenience stores."
