SINGAPORE  -

* Qatar Petroleum QATPE.UL has sold four cargoes of al-Shaheen crude, loading in October, at an average premium of $1.71 a barrel to Dubai quotes, down from 1.82 a month prior, two traders said on Monday

* Qatar Petroleum has also set the term price for October-loading cargoes at a premium of $1.81 a barrel to Dubai quotes, down from $1.84 a month earlier, the sources said

* The four cargoes are to load on Oct. 1-2, Oct. 16-17, Oct. 28-29 and between Oct. 29 and Oct. 30

* Shell bought two cargoes, while Chevron purchased one cargo, traders said. The buyer of the last cargo remains unknown
