ArabFinance: Egypts Fuel Automatic Pricing Committee decided to hold domestic fuel prices steady until March 31st, according to an official statement.

The decision aims to stabilize prices in the local market amid the current COVID-19 crises, the petroleum ministry elaborated.

The price of 95-octane will remain at EGP 8.50 per liter. The committee kept the price of 92-octane at EGP 7.50 per liter and 80-octane at EGP 6.25 per liter.

Diesel will remain at EGP 6.75 per liter, while the price of mazut (heavy fuel oil) for factories will be EGP 3,900 per ton.

The pricing committee decided last October to keep fuel prices unchanged until the end of December 2020.
