Bahrain - Investcorp Technology Partners acquired a majority stake in Switzerland’s leading provider of product information management (PIM) software, Contentserv, for an undisclosed consideration.

The recent deal is the sixth deal from Investcorp’s $400 million Fourth Technology Fund, according to a company statement released on Thursday.

“We have already made eight add on acquisitions for the five portfolio companies in our latest fund and we look forward to exploring similar opportunities for Contentserv,” managing director and head of Investcorp’s Technology Private Equity business, Gilbert Kamieniecky, said.

The deal was advised by Accenture, Code & Co, Deloitte, Proskauer, McDermott Will & Emery, Stella EOC, and Dentons.

“Our partnership with Investcorp is a recognition of the expertise and global presence Contentserv has built since inception,” CEO of Contentserv Armin Dressler commented.

The conclusion of the deal is subject to customary anti-trust clearance.
