RIYADH: The Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) has installed more than 350 tourism e-information devices across the Kingdom to help summer tourists with detailed information on tourism festivals, reservations, prices of accommodations and restaurants.

An SCTA spokesman said here on Sunday that within its plans to support Saudi summer festivals this year, and the commission has made available a number of marketing tools to introduce the tourist to tourism sites in the Kingdom and installed over 350 tourism e-information devices to work as Tourism Information Centers (TICs) on related services all over the Kingdom.

Moreover, SCTA has also deployed 100 information stands in a number of important public places like museums, malls and tourism facilities across the Kingdom. The stands show printed material, maps and photos of festivals, and tourism and historic sites to help guide people in their tours.

SCTA also provides information through its Tourism Contact Center (TCC) on the toll-free number (19988).

Notably, TCC communicates with different tourism facilities and companies to collect information on their offers in order to inform callers.

TCC also responds to inquiries of tourists on tourism sites and events besides receiving their complaints.
