JEDDAH -- The famous Lebanese restaurant 'Leila', well-known for its authentic taste, is all set to open its first branch in Jeddah. Located on the Prince Saud Al-Faisal St. (formerly known as Al-Rawdah St.), the restaurant will open during last week of January and promises a fresh flavor of traditional Lebanese recipes. While Leila has over 20 branches all over the Middle East, including branches in Beirut, Egypt, Kuwait and Bahrain, this will be its first in the Kingdom.

According to management, Jeddah was chosen as the first destination in the Kingdom since the city has one of the fastest-growing food industries. Well known for its bustling restaurants, Jeddah has a vastly diverse array of local and international diners each with its own unique ambience. A recent study put the overall market capital of family-oriented restaurants in the city at SR28 billion, with an annual growth rate of six percent. The Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry estimated revenues from restaurants at SR10 billion only during Ramadan.

Leila Restaurant will offer its patrons more than 50 main course items, as well as a selection of bespoke dishes that represent the best Lebanese cuisine has to offer. The menu also has a wide array of Lebanese desserts and beverages. Leila also boasts to be the only restaurant in Jeddah to offer the special Lebanese dessert 'Ghazal Beirut' which is basically musk ice-cream topped with Lebanese cotton-candy and pistachios.

The interiors have been specially designed with a vintage look that would take diners back in time while enjoying fresh taste of Lebanese cuisine. The restaurant's management is tirelessly working to make Leila a memorable dining experience for Jeddah's families and individuals who enjoy Lebanese cuisine, prepared by a team of skilled chefs specially trained in the restaurant's kitchen to present that special homemade flavor to its discerning patrons, offering a truly authentic Lebanese experience.
