AMMAN — The Health Ministry on Saturday decided to lower the vaccination age to 12 and allow vaccinations without a prior appointment. These measures will go into effect on Sunday.

The ministry also said that inoculation will be optional for Pfizer, particularly for those who are less than 18 years old and with the approval of the parent, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The ministry also noted that every day it will announce vaccination centres that offer the first dose and the kind of vaccine the centres offer. The ministry will post vaccine announcements on its website, social media pages and media outlets.
