ArabFinance: The Egyptian education, manpower, and planning ministries finalized a draft law that would establish a government authority to accredit institutions offering technical learning and training programs, according to a September 15th Cabinet statement.

The law aims to ensure that vocations schools meet educational standards.

The new body would set a strategy to improve technical and vocational education and training, applying German standards, Education and Technical Education Minister Tarek Shawki said.

Earlier, the minister announced a new education model, with the standardized Thanaweya Amma final exams to be amended to be electronically administered in the upcoming 2020-2021 school year.
