ArabFinance: EgyptAir will resume flights to and from Saudi Arabia for specific categories of travelers, according to a September 15th statement.

Travelers should have the results of a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test completed no more than 48 hours before leaving Egypt, the state-owned flag carrier noted.

The move came after the Saudi Ministry of Interior announced two days earlier a partial restart of international flights, Arab News reported.

The kingdom will end all restrictions on air, land, and sea transport after January 1st next year, with a specific date announced in December, the Saudi ministry added.

Arrivals to KSA must quarantine in their homes for three days, even after presenting proof of a negative PCR test.

Egypt fully resumed its air traffic on July 1st after a three-month hiatus.
