COVID-19: Egypt records 850 new cases

ArabFinance: The health ministry in Egypt announced 850 new coronavirus cases on April 18th, raising the total count to 216,334 since the pandemic started in 2020.

44 new deaths were reported, while death toll hit 12,738.

Egypt currently has 163,479 total recoveries after 765 new patients have been discharged from quarantine hospitals, the health ministry noted.

The number of daily cases in the country has been below the 1,000 marks since January 9th.
