Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) has launched "Jadara" program in cooperation with the Ministry of Community Development to train the emirate’s hospitality workers in the art of dealing with people of determination.

The initiative comes in line with "Ajman Vision 2021" to build a happy society with members effectively contributing to comprehensive and balanced development.

"Jadara" includes a broad set of tools to empower people of determination and integrate them into the workplace. Apart from that, various methods and approaches will be taken to ensure these special guests are provided with an exceptional tourism experience.

Organized by the classification division of licensing &tourism standards department of Ajman Tourism, "Jadara" program is offered to the employees of Ajman’s tourist establishments. It includes human resources, guest relations and other frontline employees along with the employees of Ajman Tourism Development Department.

"Jadarah" comprises three training sessions: People of determination trainer, sign language (level one), and the etiquette of dealing with people of determination. Two sessions were held last October and the last session is yet to be held. All participants will receive an official certificate of participation from the Ministry of Community Development by the end of the program.

Sarah Mohammed Alsuwaidi, Director of Classification Section Department at licensing & tourism standards department of Ajman Tourism, said: “We continue to launch community initiatives for the benefit of the UAE, and Jadarah program comes as part of Ajman Tourism’s commitment towards empowering people of determination.

“The program also provides various training methods for the hospitality professionals in learning the art of dealing with guests of determination. This will help the hospitality employees in providing a comfortable and pleasant stay for these special guests, in the Emirate of Ajman.”  – TradeArabia News Service
