How to make the most of your Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Khaleej Times recommends...

F.A.M.E. talent

F.A.M.E. 2018 (Fashion, Art, Music & Entertainment) - a platform that offers an inclusive event for the differently abled community - will be showcasing a variety of talents from differently abled children and young adults. The event is scheduled to take place on Friday from 4pm onwards at the World Trade Centre Ballroom, Dubai. It is a community event, so there's free entry for all. Amongst the independent talents, FAME will also include unique acts from Rashid Stars Dancers, Step Up Academy and Tender Hearts. Singer/songwriter, Navin Kundra, will also be entertaining the audience.

New brunch

Turning up the heat another notch, La Carnita's Fuego Friday Brunch is kicking off tomorrow. With DJTJ on the decks playing the most lit tracks, Fridays will never be the same. Encompassing everything the taco joint stands for, the brunch offers a sharing-style Latin street food concept served to the table from 12.30pm.

Musical evening

Enjoy a beautiful evening at Old Castello Restaurant & Caf - the hidden gem in Jumeirah - by bringing in the weekend with a live performance by the soulful Arabic singer Mohanad Al Ashqar. A quaint and a warm place, the Arabic musical night held every Thursday from 9pm onwards will take you on a soulful journey.

Fitness celebs

We're half way through Dubai Fitness Challenge, and so to keep the momentum going, Chris Powell and Heidi Powell - known for ABC's Extreme Weight Loss - will be coming to the UAE. On Friday they will be at JLT Fitness Village to hold a workout sesh from 6.30pm and on Sat, at Kite Beach from 3.30pm.

The French...they have a lot for which to be proud.
