Dubai Municipality has closed down two shisha cafes in the emirate for not adhering to Covid-19 precautionary measures.

The violating businesses, in Oud Metha Road and Al Karama neighbourhood were caught during Dubai Municipality's inspection visits. The municipality informed that a total of 2,279 inspection rounds have taken place until now..

Besides the two cafes that faced closures, 37 other establishments were issued warnings for non-compliance with rules while 2,240 businesses were found to be compliant with Covid rules.
