UAE - The Dubai Municipality shut down four establishments and issued warnings to 24 others for flouting Covid safety rules.

In its daily inspection report issued on Tuesday, the civic body said it shut down two fitness centres in Al Barsha; a shisha cafe in Al Qusais and a laundry in Al Barsha.

This came as the Dubai Municipality strengthened its inspection campaigns to ensure commitment to precautionary measures. The civic body inspected 2,314 shops and found that 98 per cent of them had implemented the safety measures.
