ABU DHABI- The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, ADJD, announced on Saturday the launch of bilingual - Arabic and English - 'Interactive Claim Forms'.

The initiative, a first for the Middle East region, was launched to ensure judicial systems development. Commenting on the announcement, Yousef Saeed Al Abri, ADJD Under-Secretary, said that the initiative was activated in line with directives by H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.

It will ensure the sustainable development of judicial systems in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, creating an attractive environment for business and investment, allowing for ease of access to litigation procedures, he added.

The bilingual forms, Al Abri explained, will help attain 'Ghadan 2021' objectives, standardise court forms, and increase litigation transparency, while eliminating language barriers for expats, leading to a better understanding of litigation procedures, their rights and duties.
