GIES Roundtable Series I: Ethical & Islamic Finance

This roundtable is the first to take place as part of GIES Series. The key objective of the GIES Series round tables was to lead the transformation across the six pillars of the Islamic Economy, and to collectively derive meaningful and actionable outcomes following the key findings and recommendations from GIES 2013. The Series was organized by Dubai Chamber in association with Thomson Reuters as a Strategic Partner. We are pleased to release the white paper from the GIES Series Round Table on Ethical & Islamic Finance, which details discussions and recommendations from industry leaders including representatives from leading Takaful companies, Islamic banks, and infrastructure bodies in the Finance and Halal sectors.
