Riyadh – Mubasher: Imported goods by Saudi Arabia grew by 18.3% during December 2019 to a total value of SAR 49.59 billion, compared with SAR 41.9 billion for the same month in the year before.

On a monthly basis, imports increased by 31.1% compared to its level last November at SAR 37.8 billion, according to the data of the General Authority for Statistics (GaStat).

All product segments recorded growth, with transportation machinery and equipment topping the list with a 66.8% rise.

On the other hand, exports decreased by 6% to SAR 85 billion, down from SAR 90.38 billion in December 2018.
