AMMAN — The Saudi embassy in Amman on Wednesday announced a grant of 34.5 million Saudi riyals to develop the power grid in Azraq refugee camp.

Saudi Ambassador Nayef Bin Bandar Al Sudairy said that the power grid development in Azraq camp, offered through the Saudi Fund for Development, comes within the framework of supporting Syrian refugees and host communities in Jordan.

The project is part of projects and programmes that cover road infrastructure, water, sewage, electricity, health, educational and living requirements and shelter rehabilitation, according to a Saudi embassy statement, cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
