AMMAN - The Cabinet, during a session headed by Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Bisher Al Khasawneh, on Wednesday approved the 2021 amendments to the fund for fallen officers of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) and security agencies.

The bill follows amendments on the Public Security Law, under which the Public Security Directorate has become the legal successor of the civil defence and gendarmerie departments, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The Council of Ministers also endorsed amendments to the bylaw of accreditation of non-Jordanian higher education institutions and attesting their certificates for 2021. The council also approved an amended bylaw for impound vehicles for 2021.
