UAE - Mubasher: The value of Abu Dhabi's non-oil foreign merchandise trade declined by 7.3% to AED 66.5 billion during the first four months of 2020, compared to AED 71.7 billion in the same period of 2019, according to the latest data by the Statistics Centre ? Abu Dhabi (SCAD).

The value of imports reached AED 35.14 billion, while the value of exports and re-exports registered AED 18.3 billion and AED 13 billion, respectively.

In April, the emirate's non-oil foreign trade registered AED 11.55 billion, with AED 2.82 billion exports, AED 1.9 billion re-exports, and AED 6.83 billion imports.

Saudi Arabia topped the list of Abu Dhabi's trade partners with AED 2.76 billion in April, followed by Japan with AED 1.032 billion.

At the same time, Abu Dhabi's trade exchange with the US reached AED 945 million.

Industrial supplies led the emirate's list of exports and imports in April with around AED 2 billion and AED 2.36 billion, respectively, while transport equipment and other parts headed the list of re-exports with AED 764 million.
