Riyadh –  VMware, which provides cloud computing and virtualization software and services, has awarded Saudi Arabia’s Saudi Telecom Company (STC) a certificate for providing cloud computing service.

Accordingly, STC became the first Saudi company to be globally accredited for providing cloud-based services, STC said in a recent statement.

The Saudi telecom provider noted that the certificate affirms its leadership in the field of innovative digital solutions, and its vast experience in providing advanced services in the field of cloud computing, which meet the needs of its customers and keep pace with the ever-changing market demands.

STC seeks to raise the efficiency of the business sector via providing a wide range of innovative digital solutions and internet of things (IoT), as being key enablers of the Kingdom's 2030 Vision.
