Iran will export over 700,000 barrels per day to Europe, announced National Iranian Oil Company's director of the international affairs.

Mohsen Qamsari further told Shana that Iran's average crude oil exports in October reached 2.44 million barrels per day.

He said Asian states continue to be major customers of Iranian oil. Asian states, he noted, take in 1.74 million barrels of Iranian oil per day.

All oil producers eye the Asian market since it the world's major energy hungry destination. Since, Iran is located in Asia, its top priority is to export 63 percent of its oil to the region and then to Europe.

Iran's crude exports have more than doubled since the JCPOA was implemented in January.
