Oman-based Ahli Bank has signed an exclusive partnership agreement with UAE national carrier Etihad Airways, offering its cardholders a discount of up to 15% on Business Class and 10% on Economy Class air tickets.
 
The promotion ends in February 2020, said the bank in its statement.
 
This partnership has been signed in line with Ahli's commitment to provide exclusive privileges and services to its cardholders, enrich their banking experience, and encourage customers to use cards to experience the latest offerings from the bank, it added.
 
Hanaa Al Hinai, the Deputy General Manager (Retail Banking) Ahlibank said: "We are pleased to announce this partnership with Etihad Airways that will enable our cardholders to avail discounts on their travel, enjoy their vacation and discover new places, thus offering great value for money."
 
"Our cards are completely secure and safe, facilitating hassle-free transactions and help benefit from our various partnerships," stated Al Hinai.
 
Yasser Al Yousef, the VP (Commercial Partnerships) Etihad Aviation Group, said: "This exclusive agreement with Ahli Bank will improve our connectivity with Omani passengers, strengthen our customer base in the sultanate and provide us with an opportunity to serve them on our airlines."

The debit and credit cards at Ahli Bank are designed and constantly upgraded to meet the needs of the customers to help make banking transactions quicker and stress-free.
 
Ahli Bank said it has a range of credit cards to suit all segments of its clients that include classic, gold, Signature and Infinite cards.
 
Benefits on these credit cards include 1% cashback, concierge service, free chauffer service, exclusive merchant discounts and worldwide airport lounge access, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
