The leading life insurer in MENA region, Misr Life Insurance has won a medical insurance policy bid launched by Egypt's top cigarette maker, Eastern Company, the insurer's chairman announced Sunday.

Ahmed Abdel-Aziz further said the policy is to insure Eastern Company's employees who amount of 2,000 against all the medical risks arising out of surgeries, endoscopes, in addition to the medical bills, outpatient clinics, medicines, dental treatments, and chronic diseases.

Abdel-Aziz has signed the insurance cooperation with the Eastern Company's officials on Sunday.
