The agreement aims to develop innovative solutions to critical issues in vital areas like health and agriculture, the statement added.
The ministry’s Applied Innovation Center team will cooperate technically with a team of faculty members at Alexandria University. The partnership represents the first work of AIC, according to the ministry.
Egypt’s communications minister Amr Talaat said, “[The agreement’s] aim is to synergize efforts to exchange knowledge experiences and carry out digital projects that serve development and contribute to building Digital Egypt.”
Alexandria University’s Smart Critical Infrastructure Research Center will be a pioneering research institution, supporting research excellence and continuous development, and raising efficiency and creativity in smart infrastructure.
The ministry recently sealed agreements with foreign entities to implement artificial intelligence technology in three main segments.
