Kuwait-based National Aviation Services (NAS) has teamed up with Global Jet Technic to provide comprehensive maintenance services to airlines operating at Dubai and Sharjah airports in the UAE.

The Kuwaiti entity will offer its line services as per approval of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), according to a press release.

NAS’ Group Chief Commercial Officer, Lukas Skorupa, commented by saying: “NAS offers high quality systems and procedures on par with the best international standards that include the latest Safety Management Systems.”

The UAE entity meanwhile has a vision to expand outside the UAE, therefore it has partnered with Kuwait’s NAS “to tap into the potential that the wide network NAS can provide,” Chairman of Global Jet Technic, Khamis Al Kaabi, said.

It is worth noting that Global Jet Technic is approved by the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and currently operates line maintenance stations at Dubai International (DXB) in addition to Sharjah Airport (SHJ).
