Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) will carry out three projects with a combined value of KWD 370 million during fiscal year 2019/2020, an informed source in the oil sector told Al-Anba newspaper.

The first investment involves upgrading power plants at Mina Al Ahmadi Refinery with a cost of KWD 70 million, the source added.

The second project comprises establishing a KWD 200 million crude oil unit at Mina Al Ahmadi Refinery.

The third investment which worth KWD 100 million includes building a large gas pipeline for the liquid petroleum gas (LPG) filling factory in Umm Al Aish region.

These investments will contribute to boosting KNPC’s projects portfolio, the source said.
