AMMAN The Jordan Enterprise Development Company (JEDCO) has organised a series of workshops as part of a programme to expedite the growth of economic projects by 22 local industrial companies from various sectors.

The programme is being implemented in two phases, the first of which comprises an analysis of the companies readiness to export and drafts export plans, which takes three months, while the second phase follows up on the implementation of the export plans, in addition to providing guidance to each company individually, a process that may take up to four months, according to a JEDCO statement.

Speaking at one of the workshops, JEDCO CEO Bashar Zoubi said that these training sessions are held in cooperation with specialised entities and are administered by expert consultants in the field of export development, the statement said.
