ROME- Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte said on Wednesday his government would end a long-running dispute over the revocation of Atlantia's ATL.MI toll-road concession by the end of the week, at the latest.

"I expect to close the dossier by the end of the week, I don't want it to go on any longer," Conte told reporters at a press conference in Madrid.

Rome has been threatening to pull the licence of Atlantia's motorway unit Autostrade per l'Italia following the deadly collapse in 2018 of a bridge in Genoa that was run by the motorway operator.
